Was awakened this morning by a little sword-wielding visitor who crawled up in bed with me. The last couple days John has slept in a bit, but he must be all rested up now.

Last night, the neighbor kids were all out and playing. They were on our driveway for awhile, then went next door. We sat out with the parents for a bit.

I'm reading Graham Greene's "Our Man In Havana". A bit of a tongue-in-cheek novel. A vacuum cleaner salesman is recruited to be a spy, he needs the money so he accepts, and then just basically makes up reports and whatnot. He sends in drawing of enlarged parts of a vacuum cleaner, and British Intelligence gets all worried that is some new secret weapon or something. Am about halfway through.
