Peace Like A River

It was a wide river, mistakable for a lake or even an ocean unless you'd been wading and knew its current. Somehow I'd crossed it... Now I saw the stream regrouped below, flowing on through what might've been vineyards, pastures, orhards... It flowed between and alongside the rivers of people; from here it was no more than a silver wire winding toward the city. - Leif Enger, Peace Like A River

A person came by the house this morning as part of us getting a different life insurance policy. John was up a bit early this morning, so I put on Peter Pan for him to watch while we were busy.

Hanna had some meltdowns last night. Maybe the adjustment of going back to Sue's house after a long layoff. She always does fine at Sue's house, but then has a hard time at home. I don't know what it is exactly, what she's trying to express.

Sometimes when John wants to have more of something, he'll say "I want much."

He likes climbing on me, or standing on me, which isn't always comfortable, so sometimes I've said "hey, I'm not a table", and John thinks that is quite funny.
