Peace Like A River

It was a wide river, mistakable for a lake or even an ocean unless you'd been wading and knew its current. Somehow I'd crossed it... Now I saw the stream regrouped below, flowing on through what might've been vineyards, pastures, orhards... It flowed between and alongside the rivers of people; from here it was no more than a silver wire winding toward the city. - Leif Enger, Peace Like A River

The car is in the shop this morning getting the brakes fixed. Rhonda and the kids are just waiting there till it's done, walking around outside. They called me and I talked to the kids. They like hearing all the noises and seeing the cars up on the hoists. Rhonda said that Hanna walked over there and pointed up at one of the cars to show me one of them. Ha.

We're going camping later today. I'll probably leave work a little early. We got a little gas cook stove, so tomorrow morning will have fun making bacon and eggs for breakfast. They sell some firewood too, so probably will make a campfire and roast mushmellows and hot dogs.
