Peace Like A River

It was a wide river, mistakable for a lake or even an ocean unless you'd been wading and knew its current. Somehow I'd crossed it... Now I saw the stream regrouped below, flowing on through what might've been vineyards, pastures, orhards... It flowed between and alongside the rivers of people; from here it was no more than a silver wire winding toward the city. - Leif Enger, Peace Like A River

Supposed to get a tad warmer this weekend, temps up to 30 or a titch higher.... but then, snow is supposedly arriving after that...

When I got home from work last night (and only had a few minutes to eat and head out again for the deacons meeting), John was excited to see me, and wanted to "jump higher" on the tramp. I hold onto his hands and kinda help him jump higher than he could on his own. He likes that. Then, he wanted to "chase chickens" too. In the Fox and the Hound, there's a scene where Tod disturbs Chief, who starts chasing Tod and in the commotion they scatter the chickens. So, I suggested doing that once, and now John thinks that is great fun. We hold hands and run around the house clucking like chickens. Ha. He didn't want to let me eat, and I wanted to play with him a little bit as I'd be gone for the evening too, so I got to the church barely in time.

Only got a couple of answers left in the Calculatrivia, and a couple three more to really nail down. There's some question marks about the answers we've arrived at.
